It's a small countertop appliance with three stacked layers: you lay a toasted English muffin half on the bottom, add cheese and a slice of meat, crack a fresh egg into the top ring, cap it with the other muffin half, and close the lid. It's genuinely easy and the results are good: the egg cooks through, the cheese melts, and cleanup is simple because the cooking plates and egg ring lift out and are dishwasher safe. The honest caveats: it makes one sandwich at a time (the Dual model does two), so it's slow for a whole family; you do need to wait the few minutes for it to preheat and cook; and if you overfill the egg ring it can seep out the side. It's firmly a single-purpose gadget — but at this price, for anyone who eats breakfast sandwiches, it pays for itself fast.
