Our review

This AMEIQ car net organizer solves two annoyances at once for under twenty dollars, which is why it's racked up nearly 7,000 ratings at 4.2 stars. Strung between the two front seats, its stretchy three-layer mesh net plus two pockets holds a handbag, phone, sunglasses, water bottle and snacks upright and within reach — so your purse stops sliding off the passenger seat and spilling on every turn. At the same time, the net covers the gap between the seats, that black hole where keys, cards and french fries vanish forever. It mounts with four fasteners — two aluminium-alloy carabiners up top and two steel hooks below — and doubles as a light barrier to stop kids or pets clambering through from the back seat.

Honest expectations: it's a simple net, so fit is the main variable. The four mounting points are designed to wrap around seat and headrest posts, and on most cars that's quick and secure — but on seats with unusual frames or built-in airbags some people need to experiment with the hook placement to get it taut. Loaded with something heavy the mesh will sag a bit (it's a net, not a shelf), and it does limit easy access to the very bottom of the seat gap while it's installed. For keeping a bag and everyday bits secure and off the floor, though, it's a cheap, genuinely useful little upgrade.

👍 Pros

  • Holds purse, phone, bottle and bits upright and in reach
  • Seals the seat gap where keys and cards disappear
  • Doubles as a light kid/pet barrier from the back seat
  • Four metal fasteners; mounts in seconds on most cars
  • Nearly 7,000 ratings at 4.2 stars, under $20

👎 Cons

  • Fit varies on seats with unusual frames or airbags
  • Mesh sags a little under heavy items (it's a net, not a shelf)
  • Blocks easy access to the bottom of the seat gap while fitted
  • May need to experiment with hook placement to get it taut

FAQ

Will it fit my car?

It mounts with four adjustable fasteners that wrap around seat and headrest posts, which fits most cars. Seats with unusual frames or built-in side airbags may need a little experimenting with hook placement.

Will it hold a heavy handbag?

Yes, it holds a typical purse upright and secure; very heavy items will make the mesh sag somewhat since it's a stretchy net rather than a rigid shelf.

Does it really stop things falling between the seats?

Yes — covering that gap is one of its main jobs, so keys, cards and phones stop disappearing down the side.

Can it keep my dog or kids in the back?

It works as a light barrier to discourage pets or kids climbing through from the back seat, though it's not a heavy-duty safety partition.
